Hatha Yoga –with Emanuela Iacopini

This Hatha Yoga class flows through a series of postures integrating breath, strength, and flexibility bringing physical and mental relaxation. It includes asanas, basic principles of pranayama and meditation and is delivered from a scientific and somatic perspective through the exploration of human kinetics and the subtle body. It results in deep comprehensive releasing work – inside and outside – to help eliminate excessive tension and stress, toxins, excess fat, mood swings and to help restore wellbeing, balance and peace of mind. The intensity of the class is medium and suitable for beginners.
Emanuela Iacopini – With a complementary background in chemistry and bodywork Emanuela iacopini teaches contemporary dance and kinesiology at the conservatoire of Luxembourg. Her Yoga practice and teachings have been influenced mainly by Ken Eyerman, Danilo Hernandez, Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance, the Sivananda lineage, the late Sri Pattabhi Jois, and Swami Visharadananda in Mysore whom she visits regularly. She obtained the Yoga Teacher Certification from the SVYASA University in Bangalore in 2005.
